WP 1 serves as a reference point for the entire development and implementation of the project. It builds the basis for undertakings planned for the training and material development (WP2) and activities which need to be undertaken during the operation of the knowledge centers (WP4) and the case challenge (WP5).
The aim of this WP is to build know-how within the HEIs at the partner countries on entrepreneurship activities and education to improve capability for more initiatives on the topic to ensure capacity and economic growth in the long term. The higher number of experts for entrepreneurship the better the education for the students at the participating faculties. The aim of WP 3 is to develop and modernize technical capabilities of the 6 PC universities to enhance efficiency to spread the knowledge on disruptive business development and entrepreneurshipand to further be able to implement the entrepreneurship knowledge centers of WP4. After tendering and purchasing each partner university has to implement finally a so called “Roll-out test” of the EKH. The implementation and kick-off event of these EKH’s can found in this section.
The main aim of WP 4 is to develop so called EKH’s for entrepreneurship education and research which are going to be installed at the partner country partners in Bhutan, Nepal and Laos to foster the concept of entrepreneurship in education and research and disruptive business development in the target countries to strengthen the technical knowledge and skills of the HEIs. Each HEI has to develop a business- & marketing plan how these EKH’s will be run and how the EKH’s will be used after the project life time in order to ensure sustainability of the EKH’s.
Case Challenge
In order to foster university-business cooperation, students working within the entrepreneurship knowledge centers will participate in the innovative entrepreneurship case challenge. Through the vocational trainings implemented in WP4, students have direct contact with enterprises/entrepreneurs. Resulting from this collaboration, each student will be matched with one enterprise/entrepreneurs (5 matches, one per student within each knowledge center) about which a case study will be created including a social media video produced with the equipment available in the knowledge center.
